Dionne has finally completed her long awaited first book, which she is giving away for free.  Can you believe that!  The book is titled '10 Quality Questions for a Life of Quality'  and is aimed at anyone who is interested in their personal development.  A second and more extensive copy will be available in print at the end of the year.

Mentoring in London

This month Dionne began mentoring university students with disabilities or mental health concerns to fulfil their potential.  From September she will be working in two of London's largest  universities, providing a service to empower and enable students to breakthrough personal barriers to their achievement and well-being.

Best Wishes to Lynne Franks in I'm a Celebrity Get me out of here

I can't say that I am a great fan of TV, let alone the program, I'm a  Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.  But I will be watching this series closely as one of my past mentors Lynne Franks is taking part.

Business Start-up Show - Olympia London

The Business Start-up Show took place in London  on the 4-5 November.  Dionne took some time out of her schedule to help promote and market a new magazine that she will be writing for in the new year called Success Formula.  "It was a busy and enjoyable two days.  I got to meet loads of aspiring and successful entrepreneurs, who are committed to taking their businesses to the next level."

Changing Communities from the inside out

          

Dionne formed a partnership with Southwark Council's South West Neighbourhood Renewal department to deliver life coaching on three council estates. The 'I Can Do It' Life Coaching Service will be delivering weekly sessions and workshops on the estates.  Dionne will be empowering local people with overcoming the personal barriers to their success, aspirations and life goals; then providing assistance with achieving them.

Lifeworks Sessions at Danceworks

Starting on the 4th August 2007 at Danceworks, London. Dionne will be running a selection of empowering interactive workshops, dedicated to assisting individuals with breakthrough barriers and achieve their true potential.  These workshops are aimed at helping people focus on their personal development, without the expense of paying for one-to-one coaching.  Each session is run by a professional coach (or practitioner), who is qualified to assist individuals with making changes and improvements in their live.  Visit Lifeworks Sessions for more info.

National Training Awards

Dionne has entered the National Training Awards this year.  'The National Training Awards are the UK's number one accolade for businesses, organisations and individuals who have achieved lasting excellence and success through training and learning.'  NTA site

"My aim is to lead by example and as a coach and trainer I have invested a lot of time, money and energy in my own personal and professional development,  the opportunity to enter these awards came a long and I decided to go for it.  So far it has been an excellent experience, especially as a useful self-analysis tool, which even without winning an award has made entering worth while" states Dionne.

New Solid Foundations Website Launched 

The Solid Foundations website was launched this month. Dionne Jude the proprietor of the business stated "I wanted to provide a window into what I do, as well as providing a way to interact with people from around the world. Anyone who visits the site will find a lot of information, and there is something for everyone. The key for me was not about talking about my services, but being of service, whilst sharing my knowledge and experiences."  As any one who owns a website knows, there is so much one can do, Dionne has told us that this website is just the start.

Natureworks Open Day

On Sunday 24th September, Dionne took part in an open day at Natureworks in London. She provided free 30 minute complimentary coaching sessions and gave a presentation on Time Line Therapy. Dionne told us "I had a really good day, I saw about 13 different people during 10-5pm, I was pretty shattered by the end of the day, but I love what I do and I will definitely do it again." Have you heard of My Space? Well if you haven't well over 100,000,000 people have (and by the time you read this there will be a lot more). Dionne Jude of Solid Foundations told us that she thought it was the best things that has happened to the music business, and to the world of business since sliced bread. "A friend of mine told me about the site for an artist I was working with, so I thought that I would check it out, I was absolutely astonished by the huge possibilities and opportunities that this site provided.  Like most I was a bit suspicious at first, but after doing some exploration, I soon signed up and began making 'friends'. Its a fantastic way of attracting people to your website and letting people know what you do all over the world" states Dionne.
The other thing Dionne forgot to tell you was that this site was started by two young men in the US and they sold it to the Rupert Murrdock Group for around £320 million, now isn't that something!

Central London Location for Clients

Dionne will be offering coaching sessions from the world-renowned Natureworks (based in Danceworks), just off Oxford Street across from the famous Selfridges and Co. Natureworks, offers a range of complementary therapies provided by around 20 different therapist. Dionne stated " Its good to be part of an established centre, that is home to some of the world best therapists in their filed, I have met some really good people who are committed to what they do, I bumped into a therapist and trainer that has been based at Natureworks for over 20 years, so I know its a good place to be". This is just one of the locations from which Dionne intends to coach. www.natureworks.net

London's Calling

For anyone who is in the music industry one of the countries premiere events took place this month at Earls Court.  London Calling is an international event for anyone who is in the music industry. Dionne Jude the proprietor of Solid Foundations went along to the event to network and to see what's happening in the music industry worldwide. She told us "I was unsure what to expect because it was my first time at London Calling, and I was not disappointed in the least. The key thing was that I went with a goal in mind. I went to speak to people about coaching in the music industry, because from my experience, there was very little structured personal development coaching happening with artists and bands. However, things do move on and I wanted to speak to people and find out their views. I spoke with A & R,  label managers, scouts, digital internet music providers, artist managers and some artists, etc. The day was well worth the £45 +vat. Some how I found the energy to go to one of the complimentary gigs in the evening".
